Benromach 10yo boasts a very strong awards record, collecting Gold medals at the IWSC, Scotch Whisky Masters and International Spirits Challenge, alongside Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It is equally well regarded by consumers with thousands of ratings online.

Matured for 10 years in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, it uses lightly peated malted barley to recreate the subtly smoky style historically associated with Speyside. The result is a whisky where sherry richness and gentle peat are perfectly at home together, with natural colour then bottled at 43% ABV.

Golden amber, with aromas of sweet green apple, ripe pear, dark honey and soft vanilla, followed by a delicate wisp of smoke. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, bringing malted cereal, stewed and forest fruits, warm toffee and black cherry, with gentle spice and smoke developing underneath. The finish is warming and lingering, with creamy malt, fruit and soft wood smoke.

Enjoy neat to appreciate the balance of fruit and smoke, with a few drops of water opening up the sweeter, fruitier notes. Equally rewarding over ice or alongside rich, smoky foods, where its gentle peat and sherry sweetness complement rather than overpower.
