Sandridge Barton Red Wine - Pinot Noir 2022 Devon 12% ABV X 6 X 750ml
Sandridge Barton’s Pinot Noir is a blend of 55% Pinot Noir Precoce, 42% Pinot Noir and 3% Pinot Meunier.
It is a delicate, cool-climate style that sees a mix of whole-bunch, whole berry and crushed fruit, gently extracting colour, flavour and tannin over a 10-day wild ferment. Then it’s into old French oak barrels for 8 months of mellow ageing — no filtration, for extra body and character.
It shows expressive layers of bramble fruit, dark cherry, blueberry and violets. Silky-smooth and easy-drinking, with fine tannins and a flicker of spiced berries on the finish.
Pair this with roast duck under a cherry glaze, mushroom risotto, beetroot salad, hearty tomato dishes, beef fondue, or cheeses such as Camembert or Gruyere.
