Larga Historia Organic Red Wine - Garnacha 2023 Valencia 13.50% ABV X 6 X 750ml SPAIN
Voted "Wine of the Year 2025" by NOFLA Ireland (National Off‑Licence Association: It supports independent businesses and runs the Irish Wine Show Star Awards, a respected annual competition where wines are judged across categories for quality and value)
A vibrant, high-altitude Garnacha from vines planted at 650m on predominantly chalky-soils. Hand harvest is followed by a strict table selection. Wine is vinified with approximately 50% whole bunch, following the "mile feuile" technique where a layer of crushed grapes is placed on top of a layer of whole bunch, and so on. This gives lightness and freshness that combines well with the intense red fruit of the Garnacha.
Bursts with aromas of strawberries and raspberries, with touches of citrus and herbs. Fine, smooth, with soft tannins and a polished mouthfeel that leads to a long, clean finish.
Perfect alongside grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or a composed salad.
