The Green Machine White Wine - Txakoli Hondarrabi Zuri 2024 Basque Country 12.5% ABV X 6 X 750ml SPAIN
Pronounced cha-ko-LEE, this vibrant wine hails from the lush hills of the Basque Country. It is fuelled by pure green energy, zingy citrus, bright acidity and a bolt of salty sea breeze.
Produced with Hondarrabi Zuri grapes planted in limestone, marl, and shale soils on steep coastal slopes, buffeted by salty sea breezes. Manual harvest. Grapes are destemmed and pressed. Controlled fermentation at 14°C. Subsequent fermentation takes place between 10 and 12°C, followed by light filtration and bottling.
Pale yellow with a noticeable sparkle (tiny carbon dioxide bubbles). A nose of medium intensity, lemon, medlar, fresh grass and green apple. On the pallet there is great fresh acidity and a tingling sensation Very easy to drink.
Crisp, clean, and proudly refreshing, built for good vibes, to be enjoyed with pintxos and fingerfood (seafood, vegetables, cured meats, cheese, olives…)
