Intense deep red colour. Nice ripe red fruits bouquet (blackcurrant and plum) followed by notes of spices, vanilla and leather. Same peppery and fruity notes on the palate along with a liquorice final. Supple tannins for this well- rounded and velvety wine.
A wine of Mediterranean character with aromas of ripe strawberry, raspberry, and cherry, plus hints of herbs and spice. Soft tannins, moderate acidity on a smooth, juicy palate.
Approachable, fruit-forward, will pair nicely with cured meats, poultry, grilled lamb, herb-driven dishes and hearty vegetarian plates such as stuffed peppers or grilled mushrooms.
