A skin-contact white produced using Pinot Gris, White Lies hails from high-elevation, sustainably farmed vineyards in Stellenbosch that have crisp breezes from False Bay and mineral-rich granite soils.
It is given four days of gentle skin contact, then undergoes spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, resulting in a wine that is vibrant, expressive, and effortlessly drinkable.
On the nose, it delights with aromas of ripe peaches, grapefruit, and green apple, while the palate offers clean, elegant flavours of white stone fruit, grapefruit, and subtle ripe fruits, all lifted by light, silky tannins from the brief skin contact.
